Growing Up in the Digital World
ELECTRONIC DEVICES POLICY
Cell phones and other electronic devices may only be used before school and after school hours, UNLESS the classroom teacher has specifically given the student permission. During school hours, all electronic devices must be turned off and stored in student lockers.
Violating these expectations will result in the following:
-
1st Offense - Device will be turned over to the office and held until the end of the school day.
-
2nd Offense - Device will be turned over to the office, held until the end of the school day and parent will be notified.
-
3rd Offense - Device will be turned over to the office, held until the end of the school day and parents will be required to pick up device from the school office and school consequences will be assigned.
It is important to remember that we expect all students to be respectful and responsible with all expensive items, but that the school is not responsible for items that go lost/missing. Thank you for your support in communicating this new rule to your students!
